Top Posts of 2016

I'm super excited to share all the top posts from 2016. I'm a little behind in writing this, BUT come December, I've been taking a purposeful break from the blog and social media. I had such a busy October and November, that I decided a break was needed. It was wonderful!! I didn't intend it to last until mid-January, but then we got 9 inches of snow!! In the PNW that's crazy and hasn't happened in like 20 years. Basically, we've had an extended holiday break and have been enjoying every minute of the snow and just lounging around.

HOWEVER, I'm ready for some regular winter days of rain and 40-50 degree weather. And a routine. So here I am trying to get back to a routine with this selection of favorite post from 2016. This is in no particular order (I like to keep things random - you tell me what you're favorites are).

Color Block Clothes Pins
These were really fun to make and we use them ALL the time. I love that they are functional and colorful. My favorite are the ones with magnets on the back - perfect for the fridge.

Master Bedroom and Craft Room: One Room Challenge
Master Bedroom and Craft Room Makeover
Last spring, we participated in the One Room Challenge and redid our master bedroom/craft room. Let's be honest, my husband did 90% of it :) I still love the built in shelves he made. Best thing ever!!

Fold Over Snack Bags Tutorial
Fold Over Snack Bags Tutorial
I made some new snack bags and tried a new method with these fold over snack bags. These snack bags are SO easy to make and probably used almost every day in our house. Definitely a homemade staple.

 Dinosaur Sweatshirt Tutorial
These dinosaur sweatshirts!! All three of my kiddos have one and wear them almost everyday. I just love seeing all three of them running around with those sweatshirts on.

Magnetic Painted Bowls
I have two of these and gifted the others. I love how they hold my hair pins so well. I even keep one on the fridge for stray clips and pins (which happens all the time)

DIY Framed Clipboard
This DIY framed clipboard was very easy to make and it's perfect for adding a pop of color to any spot of the house and I'm super excited to switch out my printable calendar every month. Get your free 2017 Printable calendar HERE

Harry Potter Lumos/Nox Light Switch
I made one of these initially for my in laws, and then decided we needed one. Yes, we did.

 Home Made V Neck Tee
Homemade V Neck Tee
I've recently fallen in love with making my own shirts. I love that I can use quality fabric AND I can fit it to fit me. This was really easy to make and I didn't need pattern.

DIY Dolman Shirt
Another DIY shirt that is a staple to my wardrobe AND also doesn't require a pattern.

DIY Fabric Covered Boxes
When we redid our Master Bedroom, I made these fabric boxes out of cardboard boxes and fabric. It was the best thing I decided to do since I didn't have money to go buy storage boxes. They turned out SUPER easy to make.

Easter Dress
This dress!! Let's be honest, it's this girl and the fabric that make me just LOVE this dress.

Play Kitchen
This project was made for our kiddos out of old cabinets. We made the counter look like ours and customized the stove and oven to be able to turn on orange lights to look like it was on. The kids LOVE it.

Well, thanks for stopping by!! Here's to another year.
