Leave your baby without worrying. See below a list of all my baby essentials to keep in a container to leave for the husband or babysitter to find everything. Plus, download a free Babysitting printable.
Having a new little baby in our home really is the best thing in the world. He makes everyone happy and is loved by all. It's amazing how such a helpless little person can be so easy to love by everyone.
Along with him joining this world, it means I get to feed him every 2-3 hours. It's a blessing that he is really good at breastfeeding, I've had my share of struggling with feeding newborns. But, sometimes it would be nice to be able to get out by myself to run errands and such without worrying about rushing back to feed him.
We decided to try giving him a bottle for such occasions. We've never had much luck with giving our babies bottles in the past, but we decided to give it a try. We tried it out with NUK Simply Natural Bottles. I was happy when he took to it immediately! I really liked the shape of the bottle, even my 6 year old felt comfortable feeding the baby with it. I found them in the baby section at Target in the bottle aisle.NUK Simply Natural Bottles are designed to be just like Mom's breast. The shape of the nipple is designed like the shape of mom's nipple. Depending on the flow, there are up to 9 nipples holes, just like mom for a more comfortable and natural feed. Also, the extra soft and wide nipple moves with baby for a comfortable latch. 93% of babies will latch onto this nipple, which is great if you're worried about training your baby to take a bottle.
It has an advanced built-in 1 piece Anti-Colic Air system that will help lessen colic, gas and spit up. I love that it is odor and stain resistant, and it is BPA free. I found it really easy to put together and to clean. Check out NUK Simply Natural Bottles for yourself!

Now that I know that he'll take this bottle, I've added it to my list of baby essentials to have on hand for my husband's use while I'm gone or when we get a baby sitter. I keep all of these things in a basket next to the couch.
