For preschool last year, it was my turn to teach about the letter Q which is a hard letter, so we did queen and had a little tea party. By chance, we had all girls in this little preschool and so what is a tea party without hats or crowns?

So I made up these printable crowns with flowers or diamonds and they spent some time painting them as they desired. We used watercolor paints so they dried quickly, and they were quickly ready for our tea party.
These crowns are so easy to make and paint/color that I printed them off again for our back to school feast just a week ago. Even my boys loved painting and then wearing them. They are fun for boys or girls and any age.
Speaking of parties, did you know that you can make a free printable party invite with ADOBE Spark? They have so many varieties that are fun and easy to customize for your party or event. And did I mention that it is free? I used it for my son’s baptism and it was incredibly easy and looked really professionally made.
They have unicorn ones and birthday ones.
How to plan an easy and fun party:
Download the free crowns printables (print two to make one crown)
Go to ADOBE Spark for invites
Step 1: Plan
Decide what your theme is and who you want to invite. The
fun party about an easy part is getting the kids involved so they can help with
any décor or games.
Step 2: Design Invites
Make an invite. Go to Adobe Spark and pick out the invite
you like. Search for one with your theme. After you find the one you like, edit
the information and download it! You can then print and send in the mail, or
you can email it to all your invitees.
Step 3: Print the crown
A crown that you can paint and color is such a fun craft
idea for your party and easy to quickly pull together. All you need to do is
print two pages for one crown. Wait to cut until the kids paint/color on it. Then tape it to fit the
child’s head.
I’d love to see your finished crowns. Please send me
