"Brown Paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things." Something about brown paper packages that are so special. And the best part of these ones are that they are wrapped with recycled grocery bags! Just like my melted crayon wrapping paper. Such a great way to resuse paper bags if you have them.

But why not add a little special card or holiday tag to go with the paper package. Have you ever tried embossing? Last year I tried it for the first time. I've never done it before and it turned out pretty easy. I might not be a card maker, but embossing tags is really fun and perfect for a brown paper package.
How to Emboss Christmas Gift Tags
Step 1.
First, pick out a design you want to emboss. Cut your paper so it fits inside of the embossing folder.Step 2.
Send your paper and embossing folder through Sizzix machine.Step 3. Cut around the designs to make them into gift tags. I also did some tree tags and cut them as tags. Then hole punch the tops of them so you can add in string.
Now tie them on brown paper packages and you're ready to give your gift! This is seriously such an easy gift tag to make and something you can whip up last minute. I love the simplicity and beauty of each one. You could even use them as ornaments or you could use them to make garland. The snowflakes particularly would make a darling little garland. What would you use them for?
