Gift tags are fun to add to presents and are easy and fun to make at home. With a few different shades of green paints, you can make a forest of trees to cut into gift tags.
As I was wrapping up gifts with my reusable fabric gift wrap, I realized I didn't have a way to write the kids on on the actual present. I really wanted to make some reusable gift tags that I sewed, but I just didn't have time for what I wanted to do. So that project will be for next year. Inspiration struck when I found some kraft paper and was inspired by Delia Creates.

Since evergreen trees are my favorite, I got some paint out and did some simple painted trees. I was so happy how simple and easy it was to do. Also relaxing. Probably took me about 5 minutes. All I had to do was cut them up and tie them on my presents. I think we could probably re use these for years to come. You do not need to be a painter to do these. It's very simple, rudimentary strokes. In fact, it's the imperfectness of it that I love so much. This would also be great gift tags to make with your kiddos. You just might want to use washable paint with them.
