As we get closer to Christmas (um like 4 days!!), I've been aching for snow. I know if I was still out East or in Utah I would be wishing for the minimal amount of snow. But, here in the PNW, we rarely get snow.
In fact, when it does snow, or there is a mere thought of snow, everything shuts down. It's like out of a story book. No one goes to works and the whole neighborhood comes out to play in the snow together.
So while everyone is getting snow, we've been getting rain. TONS of rain. I'm not complaining though. We (ironically) need the rain and I happen to love rain too.
When Proflowers asked if they could send me some flowers before Christmas, I of course said yes! Flowers during these gloomy days are really such a boost of spirit. And they fit in very nicely with the kitchen Christmas decoration and our Christmas oranges.
