I definitely have a thing for sweaters. It's not as soon as Fall hits, it's as soon as Winter brings the cold air and forces us inside all day. I basically live in large sweaters and possibly wear the same shirt for a week under that sweater (if it doesn't smell and no one can see it, why change). I found this amazing yellow sweater fabric from JOANN that I immediately saw as a new sweatshirt.

I used the Nora Top Pattern by Tilly and the Buttons. I recently made it last Summer for the first time with this blue striped sweater fabric (that I also happen to find at JOANN). I've been so happy with both fabric finds, they are now both my favorite sweaters.
For the yellow fabric, I added the thicker neckband, which is perfect for the winter. My neck is always cold, always. I thought it might be to restricting but, it is still loose enough to fit comfortably and just big enough to keep my neck warm.
And did I was happy to realize that I had yellow tights and my yellow Anywhere Skirt that I could then do a bucket list item of dressing like a crayon. Ya I know, it's pretty awesome. I can officially dress like a mustard or crayon or pee for Halloween.
